Unikalną cechą tego nośnika jest wydłużony element dystansowy pomiędzy szybkozłączem a ramą podstawy. Dzięki temu między bagażnikiem na rowery a tylną klapą powstaje więcej miejsca. Dzięki temu FG2 Plus idealnie sprawdza się np. w samochodach dostawczych z dużą klapą tylną (otwieraną do góry). Można to następnie po prostu otworzyć. Nawet z rowerami na bagażniku! Model FG2 Plus jest standardowo wyposażony w szerokie ograniczniki kół.
