De Smart BatteryProtect ontkoppelt de batterij van niet-essentiële belastingen vóórdat het volledig is ontladen (hetgeen de batterij kan beschadigen) of voordat het over onvoldoende vermogen beschikt om de motor in te schakelen. Bij het gebruik van Bluetooth om deze Smart BatteryProtect te programmeren, kunnen alle vereiste niveaus voor in-/uitschakelen worden ingesteld. Als alternatief kan één van de negen vooraf gedefinieerde niveaus voor in-/uitschakelen worden ingesteld met de programmeerpin (zie handleiding). Bluetooth kan worden uitgeschakeld, indien nodig.
